Olympiad Training Support Program 2026 – Information for FIDE Trainer Applicants

Dear FIDE Trainers,

Thank you for your interest in participating in the FIDE Olympiad Training Support Program 2026.

Please note the following important information regarding the selection process:

Only applicants holding a valid FIDE Trainer Licence will be considered and included in the list of eligible trainers sent to the participating federations.

Participating federations will receive the list of eligible trainers and will select their preferred trainer, who will serve as the Team Captain during the Olympiad.

The online trainers will be appointed by the FIDE Trainers’ Commission (TRG), taking into account the needs of the participating federations and, where possible, their preferences.

Please note that airfare, accommodation, and all other travel-related expenses for the on-site trainer (Team Captain) are the responsibility of the respective federation.

The selected trainers will be notified by 20 July 2026.
